God is so good! We've had some crazy weather, lot of wind and very cold. But one morning last week, I looked out the window and saw one of our trees in the front yard had fallen. It fell towards the driveway. And it was being held up by a smaller tree next to it. Thank goodness it didn't fall towards the house. We would've had a big hole in the front of the house. So being that the tree was in a precarious state, Scott forebade the kids from being in the front of the house in case the tree fell.

One of our neighbors came across and helped Scott chop it down. Karen, next door, filmed the whole thing while I was on my way home from work.

So today Scott, Asia and I worked to get the "trees" down to the pit since the Tucker boys were coming over. And since it's been so cold lately too, it was perfect for a big bonfire and roasting marshmallows.

We had a cozy dinner of Burgandy Beef Stew and biscuits, and once the boys got here, we all bundled up and went outside. By that time though Scott had the fire blazing. As we sat by the fire, the boys would come and go, playing in the yard.
They were doing hide and seek which is great at night in our woods. And Asia snuggled on Scott's lap.

We stayed out for a bit then went back inside. The boys are in the living room playing wii. Asia is snuggled sleeping in her bed.
