Just the Girls
This afternoon we met up with the Tuckers. Sean is spending the night with them and going to see Nascar racing. He has some earplugs to help with the noise. So we'll see tomorrow what he thought about the whole thing.
Well Asia was a bit sad that she couldn't go this time to the Tuckers. Usually she goes as well. But with the race, there was no way. But we came up with some funt things to do on our own. Scott was at a track meet so it was just the two of us.
She got hungry right after we dropped off Sean. So we headed to McDonalds, the only place with a playground at the exit. She ate a happy meal and played for a time and ended up seeing an old classmate from preschool. But then we had to go to our next activity for the moment.
Brusters Ice Cream was having a special give away day. If you showed up in your pj's you were given a free single scoop waffle cone. Well, the cone was ginormous! It was nearly as big as her head. And it was such a pretty day today. So it was was perfect ending for our short outing.
We headed back to the house because I was wanting to experiment with a cake for Monday. So Asia rode her bike, played club penguine, helped me in the kitchen. And now Scott is home. I think we're going to make pizza for dinner. We'll see.
