I've been staying busy with my cake business. The orders are coming in and it's been great. I did my first bridal shower cake, the three tiered cake and that was a lot of fun. Now that I'm getting more experienced, I'm much faster with my decorating which is good. I'm also doing a lot of birthday cakes, which happen to be the other ones but I have a few specialty cakes on order too like a ladybug cake for a little girls first birthday.

I have a couple wedding cakes on order too. One is in May and the other one is in September. So Those will be my first major orders I think. Whoa! How much fun is this!

Sean had his first wrestling tournament this weekend! He did really well for his first time. He's really enjoying it also. He practices a couple times each week and now we're in matches.

But his first match this weekend, the boy no showed so Sean won by forfeit. But the other three matches, he ended pinning two of his opponents and then beating the final boy in the last match because he out wrestled him and got more points! It was so fun to watch. The coaches were really pleased to and said a lot of positive things about his abilities, balance, all stuff I'll have to learn as I go. :)

The kids and I got an opportunity to go to the Nutcracker! It was so beautiful and I was surprised at how much even Sean enjoyed it. Asia remembered all the music and was in a state of awe all throughout the production. We dressed up and made a really fancy night of it. Our neighbors had girls in the ballet and gave us tickets! Such a treat!

Scott begged and begged to go with us but had a pressing engagement with a ballgame on T.V and had to reluntantly decline the invitation. :) And the cute girl holding Asia was the prima ballerina. Asia was so embarrassed. :)

Asia has been so much fun to be with at home. She bakes with me and she has her own rolling pin. I found it at the Ikea! So cute. It fits her little hands perfectly. She loves rolling out the dough and cutting out cookies. I think I have a baker in the making.

Also she helps me out with Cristina the baby I watch. But she and I do a lot of just mommy and daughter stuff too like playing memory and dress up. We sing all day and go for walks. Her favorite activity though happens to be the tea parties we have. And we do that twice each month with my friends and their daughters. So much fun. Every once in a while we'll do them at home with her little tea sets. The only problem there is that you can only get about two sips of tea out of those tiny cups!

Sean is wrestling now! One season is complete and we jump right into another one. He had his first wrestling match the other day. It was so cute because he was so nervous before his match. And when he was wrestling, he and his opponent smiled at eachother the whole time. :) He did really well and almost pinned the other kid.

It's been a while since I updated. :( I've been so busy with my new baking business! It's been great filling orders. I've been baking mostly cakes and specialty cakes but have gotten a few cookie orders too. The most popular have been the Russian Tea Cakes or Wedding Cookies. They happen to be my favorite cookie too. Yum. Now that I'm writing about it, I'm craving cake. I think I'll bake one today. Maybe a whip cream cake?

We had soooo much fun at our Tea Party! We had four little girls over and they all dressed up. They had tea, hot chocolate and all sorts of goodies. They ate, played and chatted it up like only girls can do. They arrived at noon and left just before 3:00. Nobody wanted it to be over.

The big girls had just as much fun. We had tea along with the girls and ate to our fill. The picture of the three ladies are my friends from church and small group. From left to right is Beth, Christie and Ti. From the pictures you'll know who belongs to whom. :) This is now a biweekly event! Yahoo! :)

Asia had her first hair cut today! I gave her a slight trim this morning just to even up some uneven ends. Once we were through, I guess she decided to play beauty parlor.

Well, she proceeded to find the scissors I used to make some additional changes to her look. :) And where was I? I was working at the kitchen table getting ready for the Tea Party tomorrow.

When Asia came out my bathroom, needless to say, she was in tears. I don't think she'll be cutting her hair anymore, or at least I hope she doesn't. :)
This last picture you can tell where she let her creative juices take over. This look really could catch on.

The princess birthday party was so much fun! The girls all came dressed up. And even Cinderell, Snow White and Ariel showed up. They did the girls nails, makeup and crafts with them. :)

Asia was a fairy princess and loved bouncing her wings. From that day on, she has wanted to wear nothing but her dress up costumes. So you can imagine during our school's homecoming, when all the girls and guys are dressed to the nine, she thought she was supposed to get her gown on too.

Asia has been so busy with playdates. She and her girlfriend, Reece, went to Noah's Ark Animal Park. It was so much fun. The animals in the park for the most part roam free. A few of the larger animal, tigers, lions, etc, stay in cages for saftey. But in general the kids can interact with most of the animals.

At one point, the girls were chasing the deer and being kissed by the boars. :) Reece wasn't at all thrilled with that. But Asia got a kick out of all the "Pumba's" (lion king) in the park.

We had a nice picnic lunch and the kids had a blast on their wild safari.

This is a video clip of Sean dancing before his football game last week. It's hilarious because he didn't realize I was filming him. He thought I was just taking a picture of him. And the pictures are just before the game. They were running some plays they wanted to do in the game. Isn't he handsome!?

These are Asia's best friends. Reese is the one in the pink and Ella is in the brown outfit. Asia knew Ella from her Sunday school class and became fast friends. But her two big brothers play football with Sean on his team. So the girls get to play together often.

Reece, is the daughter of the youth pastor, Reagan and Beth Farris. They also have a little baby boy name Asa. Sounds like Asia without the s. :) But the girls get together for play group often. I love my new playgroups. The days go by so fast! I have almost one for each day of the week.

But Asia is so social and the get-to-gethers are right up her alley.

These are a few pictures from our Stone Mountain Camping trip this summer. The kids had a blast! The three other boys are family friends, Dillion is in the red hat, Kyle is infront of him in the grey shirt and Conner in the red shirt is the youngest of the brothers. Every chance we get, the kids play together.

But the camp ground was gorgeous. Our site was right next to the lake, it was super peaceful and except for the one cochroach attack at 1:00 in the morning, all went well. Oh, the roach won the tent that night, for me at least. I slept in the car.

The kids keep asking when we're going to do it again. I see a winter excursion in the future.

Playgroup! We're here at my friend Brooke's house with her little baby girl, Laney. She's two weeks old! All she did was sleep. :) And the baby on my lap is Cristina. I watch her for a teacher at our school during the week. Asia loves being the big girl helping me and Mrs. Brooke with the babies.

This is last years picture of us. I know, I really need to update because, Sean is now in 1st grade, Asia is 3, Scott doesn't have facial hair anymore, yeah, and I don't have anymore hair, uggh! But hey, it's still us.

Scott is still at the private Christian school, Eagles Landing Christian Academy and busy as ever with all of his A.D. work.

I'm enjoying having Asia at home still. Everybody at school wants her enrolled but I'm keeping her home with me for as long as possible.

Sean is loving school and stays busy too with his homework (yikes) and his football schedule. But if he doesn't have fifteen things on his plate going at the same time, he gets bored. He's always ont he go!
